
Making a Donation Special Events
There are many special people in the Markham and Whitchurch-Stouffville communities who help to provide financial support for our programs.
Most of Evergreen Hospice's annual income is realized from special events.
Some of these people are volunteers who donate many hours to make our events such a success and those who attend and usually have a great time!
The other special people are the businesses, faith communities, service clubs and companies who plan and run events on our behalf. If you are interested in developing an event for us - feel free to call. Meanwhile, take a look at what your fellow community members have already done.

Evergreen Hospice’s 13th Annual Fashion for Compassion Event Wednesday, April 28th, 2010, 5:30pm Grand Baccus Banquet and Conference Centre 2155 McNicoll Avenue
Join us for the Evergreen Hospice Fashion for Compassion Event, which is one of the most popular charity events on the community social calendar. Good friends will meet for an evening of shopping, delicious dining and enjoy a fabulous fashion show all the while contributing to a cause that will touch each and every one of us at some point in our lives.
Our silent auction will showcase a variety of quality items and guests will have the opportunity to purchase tickets for a chance to win wonderful prizes in our raffle. Our incomparable live auction will feature pampering and get-away packages for groups of friends to enjoy together.
Tickets are $75 each and may be purchased at the Evergreen Hospice Office. Call 905 472-5014 to order. Tables of 10 may also be purchased for groups of friends.
Fashion show proceeds will directly fund Evergreen’s free-of-charge compassionate palliative and bereavement support for children, teens, and adults living in Markham and Whitchurch-Stouffville.
