Highlights from the 2007 Gala

Gala guests danced away the winter blues and heated up a chilly evening with lively bidding at our annual Winter Frolic Gala held on February 16th at Angus Glen Golf Club. Thanks to this sense of celebration and hospice support, this year's gala raised a new high of $102,000!

Gala Sponsors and local dignitaries from Markham and Whitchurch-Stouffville enjoyed a private cocktail party prior to the Gala hosted by Evergreen's Board of Directors. Well-known local pianist, Del Mott entertained our VIP guests while Grant McLeod from Willow Springs Winery shared the winery's Limited Reserve wines.

Our Silent Auction known for being one of the best charity auctions in the area, featured an impressive array of 168 specialty items and entertainment packages donated by numerous corporate and individual hospice supporters. There was something for everyone and the bidding was furious!
Congratulations to Heather Moeser who won the Gala Raffle Prize of a stocked 75-bottle wine fridge!
