The Kathleen Mullin Day Program is available to individuals living with a life-threatening illness and operates in home-like environment in Markham.
Our Day Program offers respite for caregivers, while providing support, a variety of life-affirming and, yes, FUN activities for the individual. Activities regularly include massage, relaxation exercises, music, crafts, creative writing - and always a great lunch.
Individuals interested in attending must be residents of Markham or Whitchurch-Stouffville, over 18 years of age, able to manage their own medication, and able to walk or get around in a wheelchair. The site is fully accessible.
The Day Program is held weekly from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. A minimum $5.00 donation per day is appreciated to cover the cost of lunch and activities.
Referrals are accepted from individuals, families, health care professionals and clergy. Please contact Evergreen Hospice at 905.472.5014 for further information or to make a referral.
